What is Pediatric ?

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that solely focuses on the medical and health care of infants, adolescents, and children. A pediatrician provides medical care for children who are chronically or acutely ill. In addition, they also offer preventative health services for children who are healthy. Thus, the role of a pediatrician is to manage the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of children at every stage of their development.

Pediatrics aims to reduce the death rates of infants and children. They also promote a long and disease-free lifestyle in children so that they remain healthy. Moreover, they diagnose and treat different conditions in children.
