What is Pediatric ?
Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that solely focuses on the medical and health care of infants, adolescents, and children. A pediatrician provides medical care for children who are chronically or acutely ill. In addition, they also offer preventative health services for children who are healthy. Thus, the role of a pediatrician is to manage the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of children at every stage of their development.

- Oral Polio vaccine (At 2 months, 4 months, 6 to 18 months and 4 to 6 years)
- Pentavalent vaccine (At 6, 10, and 14 weeks of age)
- Rotavirus (RV) (For children between 6, 10,and 14 weeks of age)
- FIPV vaccine (At 14 weeks)
- Measles rubella vaccine (Between 16 and 24 weeks)
- DPT vaccine (Between 6 weeks to 18 weeks of age)
- Td vaccine (Between 6 weeks and 6 years)
- PCV vaccine (For children less than 5 years of age)
- Hepatitis A (HepA) (Between 12 and 23 months)
